This holiday season, Sovereign Hills is proud to contribute $10,000 to three remarkable local charities working tirelessly to support the most vulnerable members of our Port Macquarie Hastings community.
As the cost of living continues to rise and affordable housing becomes increasingly scarce, many local families are facing extraordinary challenges. This Christmas, we wanted to ensure that those doing it tough still have something to smile about.
The Salvation Army Port Macquarie is supporting over 250 families this Christmas, providing financial assistance, food, and essential support to those struggling financially. Our donation of back-to-school gift packs and specially curated gift packs for teenage girls and boys will help ease the burden on parents worried about making Christmas special for their children.
Captain Peter Gott shared the powerful impact of community support: "It is amazing the amount of people we had come to us that are moved to tears with relief as they pick out the toys and gifts that are perfect for their child. They weren't sure how they were going to provide this year, but because of the help of organisations like Sovereign Hills, these families are able to make this Christmas special."
Liberty Domestic & Family Violence Support Services provides safe refuge and vital support to women and children escaping domestic violence. Many arrive with only the clothes on their backs, facing an uncertain future. Our contribution of back-to-school packs, children's toys, and gifts for women aims to bring comfort and hope during their most difficult moments.

Port Macquarie Hastings Homeless Collective works to prevent homelessness through street outreach programs and housing support services. Their Christmas events help integrate those experiencing hardship back into the community.
